• On the patronage of the Divisional Secretary of Nachchadoowa on the occasion of the Tripitaka Diva Week (2019.03.16 - 2019.03.23), on the 22nd of March 2019, a total of 57 Tripitaka Books, Piruvana (Burns and Prints) and the fully completed five hundred fifty Jagaths The program was held. Concurrently to this program the importance of making the Tripitaka as a national heritage and becoming a world heritage, the history of Tripitaka and the Ma-dharma. On behalf of the Hon. Divisional Secretary, Nachchadoowa Divisional Secretary, Sasanarakshaka Balamandalaya, former Deputy Principal of Anuradhapura DSSananayaka College, Ven. Imbulmalgama Pemananda Thero, Apinavarama Thero of Neluwa Vihara.

"Aruna Dakina Rata" Art Competition was held on 04th April 2019 under the guidance of the Secretary of the Nachchaduwa Divisional Secretariat with the objective of developing the creative skills of the pre-school aged children in the Nachchaduwa Divisional Secretariat Division and to enhance their aesthetic abilities. About 76 children are participated for this event.

A large number of programs have been organized throughout the Nachchaduwa Divisional Secretariat to celebrate the Tripitaka Diva Week, which was held from March 16, 2019 to March 23, 2019, in order to protect the three age old world as a World Heritage site.
